Our KS1 children had so much fun at their end of term disco.

Our KS2 disco was a success, thanks to the generosity of our parents/carers, local businesses and members of the local community for their food donations. Although the situation we faced was upsetting, it has shown just how much the community can pull together and we want to say a huge THANKYOU!

This year we are lucky enough to be apart of the Lidl Toy Bank campaign. Lidl has brought back their in-store toy banks for customers to donate unopened toys and gifts this Christmas. All donations to Lidl Toy Bank in Gravesend (Imperial Retail Park) will be donated to Lawn Primary School to support some of our families this Christmas.
More information about the campaign can be found here:

Science Week - Space!

This week at Lawn was space week, to encourage our children to have a lifelong love of science. The children have enjoyed creating lots of space art work, taking part in cosmic yoga and learning all about planets and the solar system. Today the children are completing their 'sponsored walk to the moon' to raise money towards science resources for the school. We would like to say a huge thankyou to everyone that has sponsored their child and supported our school.

Harvest Festival

A big thank you to everyone that donated items for the Harvest festival. It really does make a difference.
This year after speaking with Hive Hope we have decided to keep the donations in school for our families.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that if you are experiencing financial difficulties, please do speak to a member of staff that you are comfortable with about getting a food voucher or using the school's food bank.
This time of year can be difficulty for many families, so please do ask for support if you need it.
We will continue to put fresh food items out at the end of the day when we have it. (located outside the bus, when weather permitting or inside the SEN room) Polite reminder to only take what you need and what you will use and be mindful that there are many families that also benefit from this support. If you could bring your own bag that would really help, as we have now run out so will not be able to bag up items for you.

HARVEST FESTIVAL and we have to say a massive THANK YOU!

With all of your kind donations we were able to collect quite a donation for the local food bank. Everyone giving a little really does go a long way to help our community.

October 2022 - We had some real success with our development of the garden this year and taking on some support from the local community. Much of what we grow is used by Carol in our kitchen to add unique dishes to the childrens' lunches. Surplus food is used as a contribution to the local food bank.
