Nursery Admissions
15 hours free childcare for 3 and 4-year-olds
The Nursery Unit (Bonsai Class) at Lawn Primary School can offer 15 hours or 30 hours (see below regarding eligibility for the extended offer) of free childcare and children can be admitted immediately after their third birthday. Our nursery is open term time only and has two sessions per day:
- Morning session: 8.30am to 11.30am
- Afternoon session: 12.15pm to 3.15pm

Extended Offer
We are able to offer eligible parents the opportunity to access an additional 15 hours (30 hours in total) of free early learning and childcare per week. The 30 hour session is from 8.30am to 3.15pm with the 45 minute lunch session (see below for details on the additional charge for this session).
Use the Childcare Choices website to check if you are eligible www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/. Eligible parents who wish to access our 30 hour extended offer are requested to submit their eligibility code to Mrs Bull in the school office who will be happy to explain the process. Please note, spaces are subject to availability.
Additional charges
Please note that there is an additional charge of £5.00 per day to cover the unfunded lunch session. Before your child can take up the 30 hour offer, you will be asked to sign a Parent Agreement and you will be invoiced monthly. All payments must be made in advance and charges will apply unless 24 hours notice is given.
A hot meal is available to order at a cost of £2.50 per day or your child can bring a packed lunch in.
